American Heroes Wax Museum

We have just spent the last 2 months researching an American Hero.  Yesterday was the culminating activity:  we BECAME our hero.  The kids did an amazing job with their costume and props.  We turned our classroom into a wax museum.  All day long the kids stood still as the school poured through the door.  Last night parents were invited to attend the NIGHT AT THE WAX MUSEUM.  The students counted and said that over 200 people came to push their button.  When a student's button was pushed, they had to recite a quote that their hero said.  It was fabulous to see all the student's hard work pay off!
